Lugansk State Medical University [LSMU] is a modern institution of higher education with rich traditions. Lugansk state medical university was founded in the year of 1956. High level of qualification allows graduates of the University to work successfully in many countries of the world, to achieve great success in science and practical public health services. Among them are scientists, heads of public health service, honored doctors.

365 teachers, among them 63 doctors of sciences, including five honoured science and technique workers of Ukraine. One honoured worker of public education of Ukraine, two honoured doctors of Ukraine, two laureates of state prize of Ukraine carry out pedagogical, scientific, medical and educational work at 48 departments

University has very good facilities. There are five buildings for theorotical classes and a wide net of clinical bases of medical institutions of Lugansk which are equiped at the level corresponding to world standards. A modern library with the fund which exceeds five thousand specimen includes electronic mail with internet. The University has everything necessary for the organization of welfare and leisure of students, including modern hostels, a sports complex, a club for free time activities.

ADMISSION AND VISA PROCESS FLOW FOR LUGANSK STATE MEDICAL UNIVERSITY

Step 1:

For Admission:

1) Submit the below stated

(a) Certified copy of the first two pages and last two pages of the passport.
(b) Certified copies (either by notary or by any Gazetted officer or by School principal) of the mark sheets of 10th and 12th standard.

2) The University will issue the offer letter against these documents.

Step 2: 10th and 12th mark sheets are to be legalized from the respective state Government HR Departments.

Visa Expenditure: 24,000 INR
Which includes Insurance, legalization & translation.
of documents & Visa fees.

Step 3: For Eligibility Certificate from Medical Council of India:

1) The student needs to fill the application form for eligibility certificate from MEDICAL COUNCIL OF INDIA with his own handwriting. The required form will be available at our Office in Ahmedabad or from Medical council web site: www.mciindia.org

2) The application should be sent to the Medical Council of India, Delhi along with the documents and the demand drafts of the prescribed amount and the documents or the student may go personally to submit the application.

Step 4:

For Invitation:

The details of the student are forwarded to the Ministry of Education in Ukraine by the University, which then releases the Invitation of the student.

Step 5:

For Visa process:

1) The invitations are submitted by our office to the Embassy of Ukraine in Delhi for authentication and after authentication the interview dates will be declared by the Embassy and in turn will have to inform the concerned students.

2) Since in the visa interview the translation of the following documents are required by Ukrainian Embassy, hence please send us the following documents in original
a. 10th Mark sheet
b. 12th Mark sheet.
c. Passing certificate of 12th.
d. School Leaving Certificate.
e. General Medical Certificate.
f. HIV certificate from a Government Hospital.

The student needs to collect these translated documents from our Delhi Office.

3) The following checklist of the documents is required when the student appears for the interview in Delhi.

a. 10th Mark sheet in original along with the original translated copy in Ukrainian language.
b. 12th Mark sheet in original along with the original translated copy in Ukrainian language.
c. Passing Certificate of 12th in original along with the original translated copy in Ukrainian language.
d. General Medical Certificate in original along with the original translated copy.
e. Original HIV certificate along with the original translated copy.
